Dr. Mundy-Burgett’s commitment to excellence and success began at Indiana University in Bloomington where she completed her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Microbiology. In 1992, she graduated in the top 10 of her class at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Accolades during her formal education included two clinical achievement awards and election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the dentistry equivalent to Phi Beta Kappa). In order to ensure her skills exceeded the standard, she entered a competitive hospital residency program, where she gained additional post-graduate experience in all dental subspecialties and anesthesia.

After completing her formal dental education, Dr. Mundy-Burgett’s drive to excellence continued. In 1997, her ongoing academic achievements were recognized by election as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Continued education emphasizing new technologies, dental comfort, and aesthetic dentistry remains an important part of her professional life. She has felt honored to be named “Top Dentist” by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine several years in a row. She is also a proud member of the American Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
